Babolat Pure Aero 98 Gen9 2026 is the most precise and control-oriented model in the legendary Pure Aero family. It is aimed at aggressive players who build their game on rapid swings, strong topspin, and precise ball placement.

Compared to other Pure Aero models, it has a smaller head size 630 cm² or 98 in², a denser string pattern 16 × 20, and a thinner frame profile. This combination provides a more direct feel, more accurate directional control, and greater confidence when attacking challenging areas of the court.

The new technology Aeromodular 4 uses an even more aerodynamically shaped frame and redesigned racket throat geometry. Reduced air resistance improves head speed, making the Pure Aero 98 Gen9 even more explosive on topspin, counterattacks, and fast finishing shots.

For the signature spin, the FSI Spin technology is responsible, combining the 16 × 20 string pattern, special Spin Grommets inserts at positions 6 and 12, and the Woofer system.
