Forehand:
In counter-attacks the speed of Kasalla is immediately noticeable. The ball bounces directly and spends only a short moment on the blade. This allows you to press your opponent with small, short movements. During topspin play, all attacking characteristics of the blade become apparent. For comparison, the ball strike is somewhat softer and the ball gains a lot of rotation.
With a soft or medium-hard rubber, such as Secret Flow Chop, a slight catapult effect is created, which increases the flight curvature of the ball and thus gives you more time to prepare for the next strike. In passive play, the core of the blade slows down incoming balls and provides excellent control when blocking.
Backhand:
This wooden blade is designed for players who want to attack with a long push (long pushes) on the backhand. The high basic speed of the blade allows you to place the ball well and play very close to the edge of the table. This produces time pressure on the opponent. Especially when playing with plastic balls this is a big advantage.
In addition, when playing with a push you do not have to perform long strokes when blocking or slicing. The quality of the ball remains consistently high. With short pushes the wooden blade becomes a "true weapon" and your balls gain enormous penetrating power thanks to the built-in catapult effect.
What rubber combinations do we recommend:
1. Forehand: inner pimples (Secret Flow Chop) – Backhand: long pimple (HellFire X)
2. Forehand or backhand Short pimples (HASS) on the other side, see the above suggestion
3. Classic rubbers of your choice
The Kasalla wooden blade is a classic wooden blade, so you can combine it with any rubber combination. However, since Sauer&Troger is aimed at "PIMPLE" players, under points 1 and 2 we have prepared various suggestions. Of course you can replace the rubbers mentioned above with other models, for Hallmark rubbers, etc...
